Pat was born and raised in Flossmoor, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Pat attended Indiana University, where she majored in Elementary and Special Education. She taught 3rd and 4th grade, then special education at the junior high level, and then English as a Second Language to non-English speaking adults. This teaching experience led to further study at the graduate level, resulting in a master’s degree in Adult and Continuing Education.
Pat is the proud mom of two adult children. When she is not at church working in her part-time role as Administrative Assistant, she can be found on the Pelican Marsh pickleball courts, on her lanai engrossed in a good book, at the beach collecting shells, or volunteering at Mision Peniel in Immokalee. She is deeply committed to our partnership with the Central Presbyterian Church of Matanzas in Cuba, and is in close contact with the pastors, Ary and Beidy. She also enjoys participating in the WOW Women’s Bible Study Group and serves on the WOW Leadership Team.
Pat has a deep appreciation for the staff and for all they do to further the work of our congregation. She feels blessed and grateful to be part of such a caring and faith-filled church community at First Presbyterian Church.
