Women of the Way

Who are "Women of the Way?"

WOW seeks to reflect the overarching message at FPCN of God's unconditional love and grace extended to all people.  Our primary purpose is to foster Christian education, spiritual growth and caring fellowship among women.

Each gathering includes a time for fellowship, teaching or devotional reflection and facilitated small group discussion, and our study sources alternate between Scripture and other Christian-based books and study guides.  Women are encouraged to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith and to apply their knowledge to both inward change and outward expression.  The challenge posed is not only, "What do I believe?" but “What difference does this make in my daily living?"  The atmosphere of loving fellowship in our WOW gatherings fosters learning and trust where growth can happen.

Season ’21 Women of the Way Bible Study
ALL women of the church are welcome to take part in a six week Zoom study of Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians with a focus on the theme of unity and love within the Christian community.  In this study we’ll consider how a young congregation struggled to live out its newfound faith as an eager but imperfect community and how Paul challenged its members to live in a way that honored both God and one another.  In a time of divisiveness in society and challenge for the church today, what can these words mean for us?  How can we strive to be “one in Christ” among ourselves and to reflect God’s love to a hurting world?

When: Thursdays, February 4 through March 11, 10 a.m. OR 2 p.m.
Format:  Each weekly session will include a recorded teaching, followed by small group discussion.
Study materials will be available online or by mail closer to the start date.

Sign-up: RSVP to Pat Nordbrock or Andie Goodrich at  Please let us know if you’d prefer the morning or afternoon session.
