As a community, we value the pursuit of knowledge and strive to find innovative ways to unite our congregation spanning across all age groups. Our partnership with Fuller Youth Institute allowed us to broaden our perspectives and offer a wide range of classes and events that foster learning and participation. We believe that every member has something valuable to contribute, and we actively encourage engagement and collaboration among our community.

Wednesdays at First

Throughout the year, we host a series of presentations that are accompanied by dinner.

Sessions typically take place three times a year. Each series is about four or five weeks long and has an overarching theme.  Some recent examples include a look at the Abrahamic religions, Environmental Issues, and presentations from our Mission partners.  It is a wonderful time of fellowship and learning and is a great way to meet new people.

GenWe Sundays

“GenWe” Sundays are held monthly with an intentional focus on intergenerational participation.

Our worship is designed to engage all generations and accommodate everyone - whether introverted or extroverted, tactile or cerebral, younger or older, active or still, new to the church or familiar to the church, while celebrating God’s presence.

Nursery care is available for preschool children and there is also a Wiggle Room adjacent to the sanctuary for those who want to watch the service live while their children have a place to play. We have worship boxes for all our children to help parents guide them through the service.
