Grant work through Vibrant Faith Ministries and the Lilly Foundation

As a community, we value the pursuit of knowledge and strive to find innovative ways to unite our congregation spanning across all age groups. Once again, we have been selected as one of 20 diverse congregations across the US to engage in the work reaching the next generation of worshippers through grant work and Vibrant Faith Ministries. We’re developing faith-formation environments that directly and indirectly influence homes in their vital role as the primary faith-formers of children. We will be exploring innovative ways to better invite children and youth into an authentic, deepening relationship with God - creating a new support system for home-centered, church-supported WORSHIP ministry. This project exponentially expands a “pilot” experiment in home-centered, church-supported worship and prayer practices that maximize both parent AND congregational modeling in spiritual disciplines, relational foundations of worship, prayer practices, and habits that lead to a stronger faith.

GenWE Sundays

“GenWE” Sundays are held on the first Sunday of each month with an intentional focus on intergenerational participation.

Our worship is designed to engage all generations and accommodate everyone - whether introverted or extroverted, tactile or cerebral, younger or older, active or still, new to the church or familiar to the church, while celebrating God’s presence.

Nursery care is available for preschool children, and there is also a Wiggle Room adjacent to the sanctuary for those who want to watch the service live while their children have a place to play. We have worship boxes for all our children to help parents guide them through the service.
