Words from Aaron: Celebrating Kirkin’ O’ the Tartan

Rev. Dr. Aaron Janklow • October 22, 2026

Dear Members and Friends of First Presbyterian Church of Naples,

A Special Celebration of Scottish Heritage

I hope you will join us at 10 a.m. in our beautiful sanctuary for our Kirkin’ O’ the Tartan worship service! We will be joined by the Saint Andrew’s Society of Southwest Florida and the Harp and Thistle Pipe Band for a special service featuring bagpipes alongside the organ, a Scottish-inspired sermon, and prayers that seek to bring our hopes and concerns to God. Having spent six years living in Edinburgh, Scotland, and serving at St. Giles’ Cathedral, I am especially excited to share in this wonderful tradition with you here in the heart of Naples. I hope you will join us for this special celebration of our Scottish heritage!

In Christ,

Aaron
