Incoming Senior Pastor and Head of Staff
The Pastor Nominating Committee is excited and deeply grateful to announce that at our congregational meeting on Sunday, July 12, the congregation voted unanimously to approve Rev. Dr. Aaron Janklow as our next Senior Pastor and Head of Staff of First Presbyterian Church of Naples.
After a faithful and thorough discernment process reviewing more than 170 candidates, the committee unanimously concluded that God has led Rev. Dr. Aaron Janklow to serve our congregation. We are confident that his gifts for preaching, pastoral care, and collaborative leadership will resonate with people of every generation as we prepare to celebrate our 75th anniversary and look toward the future.

About Rev. Dr. Aaron Janklow
Born in Fort Lauderdale, Aaron maintains deep roots in Florida alongside an extensive background in national and international ministry. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors Program at Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, earned his Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and completed his Ph.D. in Divinity (Practical Theology and Christian Ethics) at The University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Aaron comes to Naples from New York City, where he served as the Senior Pastor and Head of Staff at the historic Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church. His previous leadership roles include serving as Executive Pastor of the Royal Poinciana Chapel in Palm Beach, Assistant Minister at St. Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach, and a Lilly Resident at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor.
Aaron is joined by his wife, Laurel, a former middle and high school teacher, and their two young daughters, Lyla and Hannah. As a family, they look forward to immersing themselves in the Naples community, enjoying family beach days, exploring local spots, and walking together.
