Words from Aaron: Living a Life Grounded in Faith
🎥 Watch Dr. Aaron share a quick preview of this Sunday's sermon message above, "Prioritizing Faith."
Finding Perspective Through Faith
Dear Members and Friends of First Presbyterian Church of Naples,
I believe faith makes a profound difference in our lives. Faith gives us a true perspective through which to view the world. It allows us to see God at work – in the events of our lives, in nature, in other people, and in everything. It helps us recognize evil as evil and good as good, and inspires us to pursue what truly matters. Faith reminds us that death and evil never have the final word. And, as the writer of Hebrews reminds us, faith gives us what we need to run the race set before us with perseverance.
Keeping Our Lamps Burning
As we'll see in this Sunday's sermon, faith is our oil. It is not simply the oil that keeps an engine running; it is the faith that keeps our lamps burning. Faith enables us to be a light to the world. It illuminates the world around us, helps us interpret what we see, and allows us to find our way through even the darkest moments. Together, let us live lives grounded in faith!
Join Us This Sunday in Worship
I hope you'll join me this Sunday beneath our cross at 10 a.m. as we gather to worship, encourage one another, and grow in faith. This Sunday, we will also honor all those who have served in our nation's military. As we recognize their contributions and their service in helping preserve the good of our nation, we thank God for them and hold them and those who serve today in our prayers.
In Christ,
Aaron
